The market in the Med/UKC appeared to have a slow start to the week, but as the week progressed, a steady stream of activity became apparent. This helped to remove some tonnage from the region and pushed rates on the Med-US Gulf and UKC-US Gulf routes up to WS 135, with earnings on both of these routes firming by 10% w-o-w.
