Tanker timecharter activity this week…
This week, US-based Core Petroleum fixed their third timecharter of the year, chartering the “HS TOSCA” Aframax tanker for an initial six months at a rate of $13,500/day, rising to $14,000/day should the option of another six months be exercised.
Bulk carrier timecharter activity this week…
The 2001-built Panamax “NIREFS” was chartered by Intermare for 18-24 months at a rate of $8,000/day. Elsewhere, the 1999-built Panamax “GENCO LEADER” was chartered by TTMI for 11-13 months at a rate linked to the Baltic Panamax Index.
